Dear friends,

Jean-Claude FLEURY, president of the IPA FRANCE - delegation 69 (Lyon region) has for years collected many police uniforms.
He intended to create a Police Museum in the city of Lyon, but his project was unfortunately unsuccessful.
Jean Claude now wishes to sell his collection which includes 300 old uniforms from various countries, a hundred old French uniforms as well
as various other objects which bear witness to the memory of the French police.

If collectors want to contact Jean-Claude, he will be happy to inform them.

Applications for this annual award are welcome from IPA members worldwide.

Hi all,

I’m a Police Officer in the Metropolitan Police Service in Croydon, London. My role is a schools officer, whereby we are embedded in one of the many high schools across the borough. Our job is to investigate crime within the school premises, liaise with families and educate the children within our respective schools. Our primary role is engagement, as historically the police and youth have had a tenuous relationship, we hope to change those views by being approachable, involved in the school day and educate in police related subjects.

With Covid 19 featuring heavily across the world and it impacting on schools etc. I thought it would be an idea to show policing across the world and I was wondering if there are similar units to ours across the world who would be willing to do a short video of their working day, 2 minutes maximum that will be compiled into a short film that, when complete can be used worldwide. The video should contain an introduction, some short clips of the work you do and must be uniform.

It’s also hoped that we can foster closer working relationships with our international schools police officers in working practices etc, advice and friendship.  If you do have units, whether that be schools, college or university campus police then could you forward this email to them please.

Many Thanks
